Overview

Nick is a neuroscience PhD student co-mentored in the Sanders and Ahituv labs using functional genomics to understand the changes in gene regulation that underlie autism spectrum disorders. Previously, Nick utilized a combination of wet-lab techniques and bioinformatics to study neocortical development and materal immune activation, a risk factor for neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders.

In his spare time, Nick can be found curled up with a good book or backpacking around California.
