Overview

Deniz is a 4th year medical student who aims to be a Psychiatrist and researcher. She is currently building cell detection truth sets to help Dr. Young to build an automated pipeline for volumetric analysis of brains. She is also involved in research in the Psychiatry departments at Koc University and Erasmus University. Her research focuses on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD), and dissociative disorder. In her free time she is organizing activities and projects in her school’s Child and Adolescent Life and Health student club.
